Today you will head out of town to see one of the wonders of the world — the Great Wall of China. We have chosen the Mutianyu section, as it is famous for its restored watchtowers and stunning views of dense forests, while being much less crowded with tourists. You will ascend to the mountain ridge on a comfortable cable car, which will save your energy for walking along the wall itself, where you can take spectacular photos against the backdrop of stone battlements receding into the horizon. After a walk in the fresh mountain air, a hearty homemade lunch awaits you at the cozy Great Wall Home restaurant, serving local cuisine prepared from farm products.
